Krapp's Last Tape
Friday, November 5th, 7:30-9:30 pm
MR. SAM SCHACHT edits and directs Samuel Beckett's classic one-act play, Krapp's Last Tape - an evocative portrayal of one man's reverie on vanished youth, lost love, and the vagaries, ambivalence, and contradictions of living. After the presentation, Mr. Schacht and Dr. D'Amato engage in dialogue, and invite the audience to join them.
Sam Schacht, MA, former Dean, Actors Studio Drama School, New School University, is a producer, actor, theater academic, and instructor at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
Barbara D'Amato, PsyaD, LP, CMPS and NYGSP faculty member, has written extensively on the analysis of authors' conflicts as expressed through their fictional characters.
