Application and Deadlines
Applications are available through our Online Application Portal or as downloadable PDF documents.
Please submit the completed application form using the Online Application Portal or by mail along with the following: (1) a brief statement explaining your interest in studying psychoanalysis, (2) a sample of your academic writing, and (3) the $100 application fee. Additionally, please arrange to have the following materials submitted on your behalf: (1) official academic transcripts (bearing the seal of the college or university) and (2) two letters of recommendation. The next phase of the application process is two interviews by members of the faculty. Please note that neither the GRE nor the Miller Analogies Test is required.
Please allow as much time as possible for us to process your documents. Applications for the fall semester should be submitted no later than June 30 and applications for the spring semester should be submitted no later than November 30. If there are extenuating circumstances, it may be possible to extend these deadlines.

Letter of Reference Access Waiver [124 KB PDF file]
This form waives the applicant's rights to view the letter of reference under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).
